Supporting Inclusive Education Through Assistive Technology Partnerships in the Philippines

Pacific Vision recently participated in a strategic partner meeting in Bonifacio Global City, Manila, bringing together key stakeholders committed to improving access to education for individuals with vision impairment.

Held in collaboration with Vispero and the Rotary Club of Makati McKinley (RCMMc), the session forms part of the ongoing Global Grant Project REVIVE, supporting the Philippine National School for the Blind (PNSB).

Advancing Technology-Driven Education

Project REVIVE is focused on establishing technology-enabled vocational training programs for visually impaired senior high school students.

  • Enhance accessibility in education
  • Build practical, job-ready skills
  • Support greater independence for students

Pacific Vision is proud to contribute solutions that enable users with low vision to access printed and digital content more effectively.

Strengthening Partnerships for Greater Impact

The meeting created an opportunity for open dialogue between Pacific Vision, Vispero, and Rotary partners.

Discussions focused on:

  • The latest developments in assistive technology
  • Implementation strategies in educational settings
  • Opportunities to strengthen long-term collaboration

These partnerships play a critical role in ensuring sustainable and scalable impact within local communities.

Global Recognition at Rotary International Convention 2026

As a key milestone, the Rotary Club of Makati McKinley has been selected to present Project REVIVE at the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei, Taiwan.

The event is expected to bring together over 30,000 global delegates, providing an international platform to showcase how collaboration and innovation can improve accessibility in education.
